Diego Rivetti
Introduction
Diego Rivetti, hailing from Piobesi d'Alba in Piedmont's Roero area, established his winery in 2015 with a focus on family-owned lands. He restored Arneis vineyards in the MGA Bricco di Piobesi starting in 2009 and added Nebbiolo plantings by 2023. Teaming up with longtime friend Elena Strada, a surgeon with roots in Serralunga d'Alba via her grandfather Guido Massa's historic winery ties, they revitalized Nebbiolo sites in Damiano, Broglio, and a Vigna Rionda spur that had lain fallow for decades. Managing just a handful of hectares, Diego prioritizes careful vineyard work to capture each parcel's distinct traits while honoring natural cycles.
